As well as in our software PLUMBER, in DESAGÜES, the software for building drainage system design (sanitary and storm), we have incorporated the option of importing objects such as lines, circles, and texts from drawing files, in such a way to turn them into “hydraulic” objects such as pipes and nodes in the software. This minimizes user´s data entry errors and saves, in addition, a large amount of time in the project’s creation.

The last step in the design of sanitary drainage systems in buildings using DESAGÜES (DRAINS) is the sizing of the Building (house) Drain pipes. This is the drainage system´s component that receives the discharge from soil and waste stacks and, also, from other drainage pipes (usually horizontal branches on the buildings’ ground level) and conveys it to the Building sewer which begins outside the building walls.

Another component to be designed in the building (house) drainage system is the storm drain system, the one responsible for capturing and conveying the rainwater from the building’s areas (roof, parking, etc.) to an approved point of disposal.
With our software DESAGÜES (DRAINS), besides what has been seen in relation to the design of sanitary drainage system components in buildings, it is also possible to perform the design of Leaders and Storm Building (house) Drains as we shall see below.
