Designing a Single-Family building’s plumbing water system with PLUMBER 3. Even easier!

The third version of our Plumbing Design Software includes, as a fundamental change, a drawing window from which it is now possible to create the drawing of the plumbing water system in your projects and from them to perform the design and analysis using the well-known HUNTER’S Method.

Specifically, you will learn in this video how to use the Interior Riser type of node so as to perform the building’s stories plumbing system interconnection.

The design has the following characteristics:

  1. The water supplying if performed from the ground level’s water network to the first level’s one. You will see that PLUMBER, once the calculation and design are performed, will determine the minimum required pressure on its source node as well as the probable flow; both values required to easily perform the pumping system’s selection or to determine if the public water distribution network can ensure the building’s supply.
  2. The system includes one water Heater, located in the ground floor’s water network. Here you will see how to apply the Interior Riser type of node, which will allow you to set any node within the water network to be used as a vertical pipe (riser) to supply other water networks.

From the ground floor’s plumbing system, you will find an Interior Riser for the cold water system and another one for the hot water system. These two risers will be supplying the corresponding water systems within the first’s floor water network.

You will also see in action features such as the drawing window of PLUMBER, especially regarding the possibility of creating nodes and pipes through its drawn, as well as how to import drawing files as to be used as a background guide in the water network’s creation process.
