{"id":3525,"date":"2016-09-15T09:41:34","date_gmt":"2016-09-15T14:11:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/en\/?p=3525"},"modified":"2016-09-15T09:41:34","modified_gmt":"2016-09-15T14:11:34","slug":"desagues-new-features-the-drawing-window","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/en\/desagues-new-features-the-drawing-window\/","title":{"rendered":"DESAG\u00dcES new Features: The Drawing Window"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the most recent major update of our building\u2019s drainage system design software, DESAG\u00dcES (DRAINS), we have incorporated new enhancements regarding both its Interface and dialogs that make it up as well as the modelling tools related to the sanitary system\u2019s modelling.<\/p>\n<p>In this tutorial, we will show you the new features that you will find in this version, <strong>specifically in those regarding the Drawing Area<\/strong> that we have included, to detail the aspects to be taken into account when performing the building\u2019s drainage system design.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment all of our software includes a tab where, just like in a computer aided drawing (CAD) application<strong>, it is possible to perform the drainage system creation by drawing its sanitary and pluvial networks on it<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/01_create-building-drainage-system-by-drawing-its-components.jpg\" alt=\"create-building-drainage-system-by-drawing-its-components\" title=\"create-building-drainage-system-by-drawing-its-components\" width=\"900\" height=\"480\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3531\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/01_create-building-drainage-system-by-drawing-its-components.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/01_create-building-drainage-system-by-drawing-its-components-620x331.jpg 620w, https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/01_create-building-drainage-system-by-drawing-its-components-768x410.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/01_create-building-drainage-system-by-drawing-its-components-260x139.jpg 260w, https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/01_create-building-drainage-system-by-drawing-its-components-50x27.jpg 50w, https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/01_create-building-drainage-system-by-drawing-its-components-141x75.jpg 141w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This drawing area, besides giving you the options for storm and sanitary systems creation by drawing their components, provides several tools or features such as the following:<\/p>\n<h2>1. Displaying Results for building drainage system\u2019s Pipe sections in the Drawing Area using Colors and Messages<\/h2>\n<p>The DESAG\u00dcES\u2019 feature of showing, at any time, a plan view of the sanitary or pluvial network on the drawing area, <strong>allows that the calculation and design results analysis can be performed using a user-defined color code for some properties<\/strong>. Building Drainage System\u2019s plan Drawings, including text Annotations<\/h2>\n<p>After performing the Calculation and design of your project drainage system\u2019s components you will need, with the intent of generating the corresponding project\u2019s drawing plans, to display results such as diameters, lengths, and slopes for each pipe section.<\/p>\n<p>To do that you will find at the <strong>RESULTS tab, Annotations panel, a button that shows a dialog to configure the text annotations for some properties to be displayed for Nodes and Pipes<\/strong> of your building\u2019s drainage networks; and, when the current network is of pluvial type, also you can generate annotations for the drainage areas:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/10_Text-Annotations-in-the-drawing-area.png\" alt=\"text-annotations-in-the-drawing-area\" will notice that two text sizes are required (fields at the lower right of the dialog):<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list_check\">\n<li><strong>One size for text annotations to be used at the \u201cminor\u201d pluvial and sanitary networks,<\/strong>e. those that directly serve sanitary fixtures (in the case of sanitary water drainage) and the ones that include semicircular gutters (when dealing with pluvial water).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Another size<\/strong> ideally greater than the previous one and <strong>that will be used for text annotations in the sanitary and pluvial building sewers.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also <strong>take into account that these settings will apply for the isometric views<\/strong> generated from the Building Drainage System\u2019s plan Drawings.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have set the required annotations for the drawing plan in the aforementioned dialog, you will see them appearing on the drawing area:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
