Nodes with Sanitary Fixtures Automatic Labeling.<\/h2>\n<p>On DESAG\u00dcES\u2019S drawing area, <strong>when you opt by drawing the building\u2019s drainage systems components on it <\/strong>(specifically the sanitary horizontal branches pipes networks), <strong>upstream drawing direction is assumed<\/strong>, that is, you will be drawing the pipes from their downstream node (first mouse click) toward its upstream one (last mouse click).<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-note\"  style=\"border-color:#167dc1;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;\"><div class=\"su-note-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" style=\"background-color:#3097DB;border-color:#fcffff;color:#FFFFFF;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;\">\n<p>In case that, by mistake, you have drawn one or more pipe branches in the opposite direction (downstream direction), <strong>notice that the pipe flow reversing tool is available on the Drain Branches panel at the PROJECT tab<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/01_Reversing-the-sanitary-pipes-flow-direction-on-the-drawing-area.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you <strong><em>click on this button<\/em><\/strong>, all that is required is to select by picking on the selected pipes section in order to reverse their flow direction (direction arrow changes)<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>On that basis you will see that, <strong>when any network extreme\u2019s pipe section is created<\/strong> (remember that in our building\u2019s drainage systems design software, the sanitary network must have a branch topology) <strong>after its last node is drawn and you right-click the mouse or hit the Escape key<\/strong> in order to cancel the pipes drawing command, the <strong><em>Nodes Properties dialog<\/em><\/strong> will be shown:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thus it will be possible to quickly select the type of plumbing fixture to be assigned to the current node in the building\u2019s sanitary drainage system.<\/p>\n<p>In addition you will see that, <strong>when the type of sanitary fixture is changed<\/strong> from the aforementioned dialog, <strong>automatically a node\u2019s label will be created for you<\/strong> based on a combination of the <strong>abbreviation that you have defined for the fixture in the Fixture\u2019s Manager <\/strong>and a number, related with the actual total of similar sanitary fixtures created in the current Sanitary Network:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" Two types of building\u2019s drainage networks: Sanitary and Pluvial<\/h2>\n<p>As you already know, <strong>parameters to be used by our building\u2019s drainage systems design software to perform the automatic assignment of diameters<\/strong>, in the case of horizontal branches pipes, <strong>and diameters and longitudinal slopes<\/strong>, in the case of building\u2019s sanitary and storm sewers as well as in the roof rain gutters networks (more about them later), is performed <strong>from the values you have entered in the Diameters manager dialog tabs<\/strong> as have been explained in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/en\/how-to-design-drains-stacks-and-building-sewers-with-desagues-drains\/# libdiametrosUDS\">this tutorial<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of building\u2019s sanitary drainage networks there\u2019s nothing new to highlight in relation to what has been told in the aforementioned tutorial.<\/p>\n<p>But in the current DESAG\u00dcES\u2019 version <strong>we have incorporated the possibility to analyze and design a building\u2019s roof rain drainage networks using semicircular (or square) section gutters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This type of storm network design will be defined from what you\u2019ve entered in the <strong><em>Pluvial-Gutters<\/em> tab of the Diameters Managers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" <strong>procedure to be followed for creating a rain gutter network to drain a single-family<\/strong> building\u2019s roofs:<\/p>\n<p>When the <strong><em>Add a new network button is clicked from the Current Network panel at the PROJECT tab<\/em><\/strong> you will notice, in the corresponding dialog, <strong>two options for defining the type of network:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hidrasoftware.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/11_Rain-gutters-network-creation.png\" alt=\"rain-gutters-network-creation\"
